My daughter got into my scrapbook supplies a few days ago. I’m not sure if this has ever happened to you but, I was more than upset. Tiny embellishments were everywhere and even though she was fawning over them all the rules about ‘not touching Mommy’s office’ were ignored. I was more than livid…

The next morning, after I had calmed down, we were both cleaning up and she kept oohing and ahhing over every little rhinestone, heart and charm. This tiny felt flower with a pink rhinestone was the favorite. She pocketed it and I later found it in the laundry. Since I’m constantly buying cute hair pieces I grabbed my MONO Metal Liquid Glue and a bobby pin.

To make embellishment bobby pins just apply glue to your bobby pin and press into your accent and top with a 1×1 square of scrap paper and let dry! You can do this with any accent and now that my little one is wearing it I’m looking through my stash with a whole new set of eyes.

these are so cute!!
adorable! my dd will love this!
I have had a similar situation, and how it HURTS!!!! But I love the great outcome, I will have to try this with my girls
Well, I wish I had a little girl so I could make some … I think I am probably too old to wear them….
A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E! Super cute project!
My son loves to play in my craft room too. He was taking “pictures” of his stuffed animal, Sammy, with a 1″ punch (the punched circles were the pictures). He’d show them to me, “that’s a good one, isn’t it, mommy?”
What a clever way to improvise!!
Soooo very cute. Love this
How sweet! I think the bobby pins hold much better than the little barrettes in that fine hair anyway!
those are so very cute…
