I made this one because my one year old LOVES to read. He’s always got a book in his hand and I wanted him to be able to point out all of his family while he ‘reads’ to himself. The trick was to make it 100% baby proof because I didn’t want it destroyed after I had spent that much work on it.
I needed something that would also work with all the different textures. The pictures, the ribbon, the accents, the cardstock, even the felt…. MONO ADHESIVE POWER BOND. Inside has a page for each family on our extended family. The album itself is just a boardook I got from the dollar store. I spray painted it and then went from there! I’ve noticed even the older kids fighting over the 37 pictures of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He loves it and it’s not coming apart during his travels so I guess it’s mission accomplished!

This is a super idea, my f-DIL just became an aunt for the 1st time and I will have to share this idea as a probable gift idea.
Love this! I bought one of these books at B&N in hopes of altering it for my granddaughter. Now I know what to do with it, so thanks for sharing!

I love this idea! My friend has twins that just started preschool and I want to make a book of their school friends. I am going to change the tab to S C H O O L, but the base idea is just sublime!

Super cute and what a great idea! I love the tabs spelling out family….very cute idea!
Very cute. Tomorrow we will add a grandson to the gaggle of girls. His sister is only one. This will be perfect for both of him. I’m not crossstitching another blanket. The last one took a year. She’ll get it for Christmas instead of when she was born.
What a great way to showcase just how well the adhesive works!
Love the ideas!!! Keep em coming!
