boardbookalbumI made this one because my one year old LOVES to read. He’s always got a book in his hand and I wanted him to be able to point out all of his family while he ‘reads’ to himself. The trick was to make it 100% baby proof because I didn’t want it destroyed after I had spent that much work on it.

I needed something that would also work with all the different textures. The pictures, the ribbon, the accents, the cardstock, even the felt…. MONO ADHESIVE POWER BOND. Inside has a page for each family on our extended family. The album itself is just a boardook I got from the dollar store. I spray painted it and then went from there!  I’ve noticed even the older kids fighting over the 37 pictures of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He loves it and it’s not coming apart during his travels so I guess it’s mission accomplished!

Very cute. Tomorrow we will add a grandson to the gaggle of girls. His sister is only one. This will be perfect for both of him. I’m not crossstitching another blanket. The last one took a year. She’ll get it for Christmas instead of when she was born.
