kiddies

*This project was designed by the amazing and talented Kerry Cottrell and put together by her adorable and fun kiddos!*

These little finger puppets are the perfect activity to give the kids on Thanksgiving to keep them out of the kitchen (for a few minutes at least!).

Time; 30 minutes
Recommended Ages; 5 and up.
Supplies needed;
Felt –brown, red, orange, white, yellow, green
Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive
Google eyes
Scissors
TurkeyPattern (click and print)
Needle and Embroidery Floss

1-     Cut felt pieces using the pattern as a guide. (kids 6 and up can do this step if they’re younger I’d recommend you cutting and them gluing)

2-     Glue the turkey face, snood, beak and eyes onto turkey body using Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive. Put this on pretty thick so that the felt can really soak it in.  Let dry.

3-     Glue turkey feathers onto the second turkey body. Let dry.

4-     Repeat with candy corn. (It should be completely dry within about 10 mins.)

5-     Use Embroidery Floss to stitch together the front and the back of the turkey with a basic running stitch.

6-     Repeat with the two yellow body piece of candy corn. (and the smile)

7-     Glue the back of the completed candy corn to the pre-sewn yellow body. Let dry.

8-     Enjoy!
