Today we are thankful for Sherry G for being such a loyal Tombow fan. I’m sure she is thankful for dual brush markers and of course we are all thankful for chocolate Turkey cupcakes!

This Tot Project is perfect for today. The kids are out of school and you are looking for ways to entertain them, aren’t you?! I promise that making these will create the memories you just might have to scrapbook because my kids and I had the best time making them this past week. It was definitely one of those moments I hope to remember forever. Let me just give you a word of caution before you start. If you make these today there won’t be any of them left for Thursday because these Turkey’s are just begging to be gobbled up.
Time; 20-30 minutes (+ bake time)
Recommended Ages; 3 and up.
Supplies Needed;

Cupcake Mix (any flavor)
Chocolate Frosting
Chocolate/Peanut Butter Cups
Orange Skittles (cut in half)
Red licorice (cut thin)
White Chocolate Chips
Mini Chocolate Chips
Patterned paper scraps
Toothpicks
Scissors
Tombow MONO Multi Liquid Adhesive or
MONO Permanent Adhesive Runner
1- Bake and cool cupcakes per recipe. Ice with Chocolate icing. Set aside.
2- Cut 5 feathers (per Turkey) out of multiple patterned paper scraps. (I cut out 1 “pattern” for each child out of cardstock and gave that to the kids to trace/cut.)
3- Use Adhesive runner on the back of feathers, attach toothpicks. Insert into the back of prepared cupcake.
4- Use Peanut Butter Cup as head. Attach all face pieces with tiny dab of chocolate icing. White choc. chips as eyes and mini choc. chips as center of eye. Skittle piece as beak and sliver of licorice as gobbler. Insert tooth pick into the side and insert into the front of your little turkey.
5- Cut a patterned piece of paper just thinner than the width of your cupcake cups. (ex; for a standard cupcake it’s 1″) Use Mono Multi Liquid Glue (or runner) on the back of the patterned piece and wrap around the cupcake wrap. Attaching the paper in the back of the cupcakes.
6- Repeat with remaining cupcakes and set up your little turkey farm. Then Dig in!! Enjoy your turkey, I know we did at our house.

Have you ever thought of adding more videos to your webpage to keep the readers more involved? I just read through the whole article and it was very good but since I learn visually, I find videos to be more helpful. I dig what you guys are always up too. Keep up the nice work. .
