Next week! St. Patrick’s Day is next week! I’m not Irish but, I I’m the kinda girl that just looks for any reason to celebrate. So bring it on St. Patty! (Not only that, but my kids seem to be thrilled with any excuse to decorate and have some out-of-the-ordinary fun.) So we made up this simple and WAY cute (if I do say so myself) garland using my green scraps, some black plaid ribbon, a sewing machine and my Tombow MONO permanent Adhesive runner. To make this…

To make this just find a few of your favorite shamrock shapes. I chose 1 shape and resized it to have a small (1 1/2”), medium (2”) and large size (3”). I printed my ‘patterns’ out on cardstock and the kids traced while I cut. When Each one was done, it was folded twice to give it a little dimension. Once I have enough cut I used my MONO runner to attach them in sets of 3-5. Then I ran each set through my sewing machine. Thankfully there is no dry time to the adhesive and it won’t gum up my machine so everything came together super quick! Once that was done I trimmed the string and connected each strand with some ribbon (so it would ‘swing’ like proper garland.) Then I dabbed the centers of the bows with MONO AQUA for stability and I was done!

Quick, Easy, Affordable St. Patrick’s Day decorations! Now that the decor is done I’m off to plan my fun green themed St. Patty’s day menu for next week. Any ideas?!
