I wanted to use these heavy chipboard pieces on the layout but the adhesive already on them did not hold on the paper, it kept falling off.

I applied a layer of Tombow MONO Permanent Adhesive to the large chipboard piece so I could display the layout.  I held great, now I have a real memory keeper. They grown up so fast don’t they…

I created a card with the adorable “Froggy Gift” from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. I made the card base 4 ¾ x 5 ½. I cut the green cardstock 4 ½ x 5 ¼ and embossed it with a heart embossing folder.

I adhered the blue, brown and designer paper, after punching the borders, with my Tombow Stamp Runner and colored the image with Tombow Dual Brush Markers. 

I cut out the image and blue with my nesties labels and adhered them with my Tombow Stamp Runner and layered all the pieces with Tombow Foam Tabs. After threading bakers twine through the buttons, I adhered them with Tombow Power Tabs.

Here are the Tombow Markers I used… 942-912 …Flesh, N89-N60 …Background 076-098…Green, 990-991…yellow, 947…brown, 772…Pink, N89-528… Blue

I inked up the stamp with Tombow Dual Brush Pens, spritzed it with a wee bit of water and stamped it onto some Prismatics cardstock. The edges were shaded a bit with Tea Dye Distress ink to soften the hard edge of the tan cardstock. The print paper has a music them and lots of pretty glitter mixed in. It is from a My Minds Eye Glitter paper pad from last year. I don’t know if I will ever use it all up, I think there were over 50 sheets in the pad. The sentiment is from Memory Box. This saying is one that I used years ago on a Christmas card (long before there was a stamp for it), I wish I had this stamp then! I layered everything up with some Hunter green cardstock that I have had in my stash for awhile, it could be Bazzil as it has some texture to it. I added a twiney bow and a button and called it good! The bow really isn’t wonky, but it sure does look that way in the picture. Have a great day!

This card was created using the “Thumping” technique for coloring in the flower. This card is for my pal Sharri Seffens who was the “Blast from the Past” challenge hostess at STV for March, April and May. Each week Sharri would challenge us to use one of Gina’s past techniques as our inspiration.

The stamps used are from the GKD Botanicals stamp set. The print papers were from a past GKD Card kit. I used Tombow Dual Brush Pens in a couple of
shades of purple and green for the floral image. The image was cut out with the Spellbinders Petite Oval and Petite Oval Scallop dies. I finished off the card
with some purple pearls and purple grosgrain ribbon. This card has a really masculine feel to it, I don’t really have any “old” male friends except for the ones I inherited 23 years ago when DH and I got married! Don’t really think any one of them would appreciate the time I put into this card though.

This card was created for the Potluck Friday challenge at Stamp TV. It was really pretty simple to put together. Here are the deets:

1. Fold Chocolate Kiss cardstock in half and run through the Cuttlebug with largest Petite Oval Scallop Nestie.

2. Print Moss Burlap digi paper from freebies section at Stamp TV.

3. Run digi paper through CB with largest die from the small Petite Ovals set.

4. Color pine tree stamp (GKD) with Tombow Dual Brush pens (098,126, 451 & 969)

5. Spritz stamp with fine mist of water and stamp onto Arches 140# coldpress watercolor paper.(Canson 140# coldpress will work good too)

6. Ink sentiment first with Adirondack Espresso ink and then lightly touch to Adirondack Ginger ink to add a bit of red to the espresso
(this combo matches Tombow 969 perfectly), stamp onto image panel.

7. Affix tree panel to digi panel and punch holes on either side for your ribbon.

8. Insert ribbon, tie in knot and affix to Chocolate Kiss card with a  foam tab.

9. Add a little glitter to the tree and a stick pin to the knot.

Since discovering  Tombow’s adhesive range about three years ago, I have become a HUGE fan & always have a bunch of their products on hand. So given that I tend to use a variety of different adhesive types in a single project I thought you might enjoy a peek at how I put a page together from Start-to-Finish using product from the June Cocoa Daisy kit, Cherry Soda & Tombow.

My paper layers are always adhered with MONO Multi Liquid Glue because I love how fast it dries. However if I am still shuffling elements around it is great thatMONO Multi Liquid Glue has the versatility of being removable if allowed to ‘tacky’ dry first.

MONO Adhesive Dots, Roller is also a great adhesive to attach photographs.

I needed extra height on my cut out flower accents, NEW Foam Tabs, were perfect to do this. Coming in two square sizes meant getting a couple into the small areas was a cinch.

More MONO Multi Liquid Glue for my paper tabs…

The page now almost complete, just needed a few finishing touches. MONO Aqua Liquid Glue was perfect for these. Fabric flowers, buttons & some metal accents.

Voila! A pretty page that wouldn’t have come together quite the same without  Tombow’s adhesive.

Today I am sharing a little flip book that I made.  I used papers from the Basic Grey Sweet Threads Line.

This little book has several pages that have adorable little flip tabs perfect for journaling.

The book was bound using a Bind it All.

I used Tombow Glue stick to attach the paper to the chipboard covers.

Adhere print paper to pages using Tombow Mono Dots Adhesive.

I used Tombow Mono Aqua to adhere the delicate leaves die cuts to the front of the book. I love that the Aqua adhesive has two different sized tips, the pen tip is perfect for putting adhesive on the small areas of the leaves and stems.

I am a long time fan of Tombow adhesives. One of my favorites that you can usually find in my adhesive basket is the Permanent MONO Dots Adhesive –

I used this, and a couple other Tombow adhesives on my page that I’m sharing with you today. I’ll start by showing you a fun masking and stamping technique using the Tombow Foam Tabs.

Use tweezers to arrange the Tombow foam mini tab squares into a checkerboard pattern on a scrap piece of cardstock. Just lightly place the squares. Don’t press down on them. Peel off the backing paper so the adhesive is exposed.

Mist with your favorite spray ink.

Now use the foam adhesive checkerboard as a stamp on another
scrap of cardstock. Be sure to use a light touch when stamping your
checkerboard pattern.

You now have two checkerboard patterns to use on your project, but first let’s remove the Foam Tabs from the misted paper.

Gently pull the Foam Tabs from your cardstock.

If some of the adhesive stays behind simply rub it off gently with your fingertip.

I used MONO Aqua Liquid Glue to adhere a felt photo corner to my main photo. This glue works great with felt!

I love the texture that crumpled paper adds to a project, but sometimes it becomes difficult to adhere after crumpling it. Permanent MONO Dots Adhesive does a great job of keeping it in place.

I also used some of the  Foam Tabs to pop up some of the photos and accents on my page for extra dimension.

I stamped the image onto ordinary white card stock with Stazon jet black ink. I colored the image with Tombow Irojiten Color Pencils from volume 4, 5 and 6.

Starting with the lightest of a color group I added the color leaving lots of white space layering the color from lightest to darkest. I used a paper stump and Gamsol (odorless mineral spirits) to blend the color.

You can add more color and re-blend or if you have too much color you can remove some with the Gamsol.

I layered the circles and the image using Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Glue to adhere them together and Tombow Foam Tabs to attach them to the card.

I punched the flowers & ferns and used Tombow Foam Tabs to adhere them to the card.

The adorable image I used is from High Hopes Stamps- Sitting Buddy with Balloon S-195 and Happy Bear-day sentiment.

I layered the circles and the image using Tombow Mono Aqua Lliquid Glue to adhere them together and Tombow Foam Tabs to attach them to the card. I punched the flowers & ferns and used Tombow Foam Tabs to adhere them to the card. The adorable image I used is from High Hopes Stamps- Sitting Buddy with Balloon S-195 and Happy Bear-day sentiment.
