Sales Leader Promoted
Jim Lee has been promoted as our arts, crafts and office products manufacturer’s national vice president of sales. He’ll be responsible for strategic planning and sales forecasting across North America as well as program negotiations, product placement, incentive programs and the management of a national team of sales managers. Jim will work to build sales channels that drive product adoption across markets in Canada and the United States.
With 20 years of sales work experience with national and international brands, as well as his go-to philosophy for creating phenomenal partnerships, he was the only choice for this position. His experience working side-by-side with both independent retailers and distributors on regional and national accounts and his track record of exceeding sales targets as national sales manager for Tombow was a factor in his selection.

We are pleased to welcome Richard Berman to the American Tombow team as the national sales manager for our Art,Craft and Mass Market division. Richard will work to develop mutually beneficial partnerships with retailers and distributors in the art, craft and mass market channels as well as focus on sales and service gateways that ultimately build brand awareness for our product line.
His 25-year tenure in sales for the arts, crafts and mass market segments will help foster prosperous partnerships and grow Tombow’s footprint throughout North America. His experience working with independent retailers and distributors on regional and national accounts and his expertise in the arts, crafts and scrapbooking markets led to successful partnerships with major national retailers including Archiver’s, Barnes & Noble, Container Store, Hobby Lobby and Michaels.
We’re preparing for a positive future through strategic initiatives that will accelerate sales and grow our markets in 2011 and Richard’s past performance is a showcase for this goal, and for our long-term results.
