Hi Tombow Friends! This is Jennie. One of my favorite trends of 2024 was friendship bracelets! So, I decided to decorate a little notebook to match this trend.
Supplies:
- Tombow Xtreme Adhesive
- Notebook
- Tombow MONO Aqua Liquid Glue
- Patterned Paper
- Alphabet Stickers or Die Cuts
- Embellishments
- Twine
- Circle die or punch
Step #1: Cover the notebook.
Use the Tombow Xtreme Adhesive on the cover of the notebook. The Tombow Xtreme Adhesive is stronger than the other adhesive runners. It’s perfect for projects that will be handled more often. Start with adhesive on one side and place it on the back of the patterned paper. Then add adhesive on the other side and finish gluing it.
Before cutting, close to your notebook to allow the paper to stretch enough. You can use scissors or a craft knife to cut around the notebook.
Step #2: Make a friendship bracelet!
I used a die to cut foam circles as my beads for the friendship bracelet. You can use a punch instead of a die or paper instead of foam.
I used twine to create the string for the friendship bracelet. You can just do a knot instead of a bow. Add the circle “beads” to the string using the Tombow Xtreme Adhesive on the back of the circles.
Use the Tombow MONO Aqua Liquid Glue to glue the twine to the notebook. This glue dries clear so there is no residue.
Step #3: Decorate the cover!
Use die cuts and stickers to decorate the rest of the cover. I used tiny music notes stickers to match the die cut of the girl.
You can also use this as inspiration to decorate bigger notebooks.
