National Hobby Month – Scrapbooking

Hey Everyone!

I’m excited to share a fun way to celebrate National Hobby Month! Scrapbooking has been a hobby of mine since I was 9 years old. I first learned it with my gram and quickly fell in love. Scrapbooking is a fantastic way to preserve memories and express yourself creatively. Here’s a quick tutorial using some of my favorite @tombowusa products.

Supplies:

Step 1: Make a Plan Before cutting or gluing, gather all your supplies. This includes choosing your photo, deciding on a color scheme, and selecting any paper, stickers, or markers you’ll use. Think of this as your rough outline.

Step 2: Attach Your Photo Using MONO Aqua Liquid Glue, apply a small amount to the back of your photo and attach it to a paper of your chosen color. Once your photo is secure, use a paper cutter or scissors to trim around it. For this layout, I used a double paper backing since I only included one photo.

Step 3: Add Your Title I used the Dual Brush Pen in 133-Chartreuse from the Eighties 10-pack to write my adorable dog’s name, “Tater Tot.” To add depth to the title, I layered on the green Fudenosuke Neon Brush.

Step 4: Secure and Decorate After arranging everything where you want it, use the MONO Aqua Liquid Glue to secure all the pieces in place. Once glued down, I added cute paw print details to the page using the blue Fudenosuke Neon Brush.

That’s it! This is a super simple way to create a scrapbook page and preserve a wonderful keepsake. I’d love to see how you are celebrating National Hobby Month! Tag @sarahynesdesigns and @tombowusa in your creations.
