Hey everyone, Katie here today to share with you How I use Correction Tape in my Travel Planner.
If you’re like me, Planning a trip is almost as fun as the trip itself, especially when I get to pull out my pens, markers, and journal and start doodling the adventure ahead. I LOVE visiting National Parks, so for an upcoming Yellowstone trip, I created this itinerary page using Tombows Fudenosuke Brush Pens (in color!) & MONO Drawing Pens . But let’s be real, no matter how carefully I plan, I always end up making little mistakes. Dates change, or I spell something weirdly wrong (I managed to write “Hot Springs” wrong), or I just want to swap out a header for something cuter.
Enter: Tombow’s MONO Air Touch Refillable Correction Tape. A tiny, magical tool that lets me fix all of that without starting over.
I thought I’d share a few ways that I use correction tape in my travel planner:
One: Fixing Spelling Mistakes
I definitely make the occasional spelling oops. This correction tape rolls on smooth and clean, so I can fix it without ruining the page. And because it’s super precise, it’s perfect for small planner spaces.
Two: Changing Dates (because plans change!)
Originally, I was packing up on the 6th… Then it became the 10th… Then my page had the wrong date. The MONO Air Touch Correction tape goes on smooth, so it’s pretty easy to write across with my favorite pen.
Three: Swapping Activities or Headers
Sometimes I change my mind. Like, maybe “Hike to Cascade Lake” turns into “a Rest Day with a sketchbook.” Instead of squeezing in new words, I just use the tape to cleanly cover the old ones and write something new that fits the vibe.
Mistakes happen or plans shift. And sometimes your handwriting is a hot mess and just needs a redo, haha. Correction tape is one of those underrated supplies that I don’t think about often, but then I remember how amazing and useful it is so I fall back in love with it, especially when I’m travel journaling.
I encourage you to throw one of Tombow’s Correction Tapes into your bullet journal kit, just in case you might need to fix a whoopsie!
