I have been working on some Christmas cards and decided to share them with you this week.  All month long the Tombow team is partnering with Art Institute Glitter so you will see a bit of sparkle on Santa. 🙂Â
Both of the image stamps are from Inky Antics and the sentiments are from Hero Arts. Â
For this card, I stamped Santa in Memento black ink and gave it a quick shot with my heat tool to set the ink a bit.  I colored Santa with Tombow Dual Brush Pens in #845 Carmine and #847 Crimson and added a little bit of #491 Glacier Blue around all of the white portions of the snowman and Santa’s outfit.  #850 Flesh was used for his face and his boots are a combo of N65 Cool Gray 5 and N75 Cool Gray 3.  I used Tombow Mono Adhesive Dots to adhere the Doodlebug print cardstocks to the red card base.  I die cut Santa with Spellbinders Petite Classic and Scallop Oval dies and added him to the scallop oval base with Tombow Mono Adhesive Dots.  To pop him up a bit, I added some Tombow Foam Tabs.  To add the Ultrafine Crystal glitter from Art Institute, I put down some Tombow Mono Aqua and then sprinkled the glitter over the top.  I shook off the excess and let the card sit for approximately 15 minute to let the glue dry. Â
This card was created using the same Tombow Dual Brush Pen colors with the addition of #195 Light Green for the ornament.  Again, I used Tombow Mono Adhesive Dots to adhere all of the flat layers and some Tombow Foam Tabs to pop the ornament and sentiment up onto the card.  The same process was used to apply the Ultrafine Crystal glitter to Santa’s hat.  Be sure to let the Tombow Mono Aqua set for a few minutes as this will allow the glitter to set really well.
