My family doesn’t make a big deal out of Valentine’s Day but that doesn’t mean I don’t love the papers and embellishments! Opening up the goodie pack from Fancy Pants Designs that we were sent to work with for our hop this month immediately jumped out to me for one project – my son’s school photo!
Friends and family joke about his “rico suave” approach and smooth moves — he can charm candies from any scrapbooker at any crop! One of my friends even caught Matthew admiring himself in the mirror, saying he was “handsome” to himself. What a pill!
On the first day of school and at picture day, our “little loverboy” insisted on wearing the suit his grandmother had purchased for him over the summer. He was the only kid in the entire school wearing a SUIT!
Doesn’t he look like he thinks he is hot stuff?
The kissing booth themed items in this Love Note Collection were so perfect for my son’s loverboy attitude and the flags were a ton of fun to layer – these elements made the layout come together really quickly!
To create the “pole” from which the flags hang, I adhered a paper straw to the page using Tombow’s MONO Aqua Liquid Glue. To give the flags dimension, I adhered some with Tombow’s Power Bond Adhesive Runner and others with Tombow’s Power Tabs.

Really cute layout.
All of my past effort to embellish and decorate and photograph our wonderful everyday lives came into full appreciation at memorial services for our loved ones. We shared our love we shared our lives. We posted it with TomBow’s adhesive.
