Hey there Tombow fans! Today I am sharing a fun project that I made for one of the Tombow kiosks that are in the booth at the Create-n-Connect (CHA-Summer) show.
This kiosk is a bright aqua color and the theme is “Under the Sea”. I decided to create a banner with lots of waves and cute little gold fishes.
I die cut several strips of “waves” out of 3 different colors of cardstock using my Silhouette and layered them with Tombow Foam Tabs between each layer to add some depth to the sea. I used Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Adhesive along the top of each wave and sprinkled them with some pretty crystal glitter from Art Institute. Next I cut out some seaweed and little golden fishes. Some of the fish are adhered in and among the waves with small Tombow Foam Tabs and some are just attached to the banner with Tombow Mono Aqua so that the height of the fish was staggered.
I know it is hard to see, but each of the letters has either waves or dot pattern that I made with Tombow Mono Aqua and sprinkled with some more of the crystal glitter. It is so, so sparkly in person.
If you are at the show, I would love for you to stop by and check it out!
