Sparkle & Bling Ornaments by Marie Browning

For my post I am featuring these very glittery ornaments.  For the ornaments I used cardstock from Fancy Pants, vintage bird image from Crafty Secrets, glitter from Art Glitter,  snowflake chipboard from Bazzill and Dual Brush Pens and Adhesives from Tombow.

I started by trimming the background paper and the vintage image for the center. I used the Dual Brush Pens to quickly color the snowflakes and covered them with MONO Aqua Liquid Glue using broad applicator tip.  I first placed in the rhinestones and then sprinkled them with ice chips shard glass glitter. I also trimmed the vintage bird image with silver shard glass glitter and Aqua Glue using the fine applicator tip.

When the glue was dry, I put the ornament together with Power Tabs and Foam Tabs, sandwiching a piece of silver wire threaded with heart charms and crystal beads between the paper panels for the hanger. For a finishing touch, I added silver bullion wire bows (also called crinkle wire) for an extra sparkle.

If you are planning to send these ornaments as cards for Christmas, add a paper panel on the back of each ornament with your holiday greetings, wrap it in tissue and custom-make an envelope with matching cardstock with the new Envelope Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers. The Dot Adhesive Stamp Runner is perfect to use with the Envelope Punch Board! It’s fast and easy to apply a line of adhesive when constructing the envelope and for adding smaller paper embellishments on the front with the stamp feature. A great stocking stuffer for all your crafty friends!
