This week on Tombow is our challenge week and Jennie Garcia is our hostess. She chose “April Showers” as her theme and for some reason this one really stumped me. Maybe because it’s been so long since we’ve seen rain I forgot what it looked like! LOL!!
Then it hit me and I decided to share this card I designed for a bridal SHOWER that I am hosting in APRIL for my DIL2B. Ü The jar template is from Cutting Cafe’s Jar Shaped Card & Shaker Card Cutting Files.
I used Mono Dots Adhesive Runner for the lid. This is especially helpful with such tiny pieces. to hold down the pieces while I added the adhesive, I used Mono Removable Adhesive to all the pieces on a scrap piece of paper and then just added the Dots Adhesive all at once. The rest of the pieces were adhered down using Mono Adhesive Permanent.
I created the label on the computer downloading a chalkboard background and then typing in Bridal Shower with a chalkboard font. Kassy is decorating the wedding with mason jars and is a teacher, so I was trying to combine the two in the invite.
The card opens from the top and on the inside is all the necessary info.
