Hey Tombow Friends! This is Jennie and in this post I’m going to show you how I made these easy Christmas ornaments. Not only were they easy to make, but they were also very inexpensive!
Supplies:
- Tombow MONO Air Touch Adhesive
- Premade Snowflake Ornaments
- Tombow Adhesive Dots
- Embellishments
- Twine or Ribbon
I found these premade snowflake ornaments at the dollar store, but you can easily find them everywhere. You could also make paper snowflakes with a die cutting machine.
Step #1: Make an embellishment cluster.
In this project I’m using two adhesives from the Holiday Gift Guide, the Tombow MONO Air Touch Adhesive and the Tombow Adhesive Dots. Before gluing my embellishment cluster, I assembled it on top of the plastic snowflake ornament to make sure it will fit. I’m also very aware of where the ribbon or twine will go.
To add dimension to the die cuts in the embellishment cluster, I used scrap pieces of foam that were left over from another project. Use the Tombow MONO Air Touch Adhesive to glue the foam.
Step #2: Glue your cluster on the snowflake ornament.
Use the Tombow Adhesive Dots to glue your cluster to the snowflake ornament. The Tombow Adhesive Dots are perfect for glitter surfaces and plastic!
Step #3: Add ornament hangers.
Use twine, ribbon or wire as ornament hangers. You can add bells too!
You can send these easy Christmas ornaments as presents! These are great for smaller trees. One of these small trees with handmade ornaments could be a great housewarming present for someone who just moved or is about to move during the holidays.
Making these ornaments is a good idea when you can’t find ornaments that match a color scheme or theme.
Making ornaments is one of our family’s holiday traditions! I had a lot of making these!
If you give this idea a try, share it with us using the hashtag #tombowusa. We would love to see your version of this fun project!
