Hey everyone, in today’s blog post I’m going to show you how to make a DIY Christmas Charm Mini Wreath!
Has anyone else been obsessed with charms this year? It’s Katie here, and I’ve been doing so many charm crafts this year, making bracelets, keychains, and more! Now that it’s the holidays, I was thinking up more fun ways I could use them and thought it would be so cute to turn them into a mini wreath!
Let’s make some!
Supplies:
- Small wreath – I’m using some 3″ laser cut wooden circles, anything you have that is small and circular could work, a wreath base, circles cut from cardboard, etc! 🙂Â
- Tombow MONO Multi XL Liquid Glue
- Ribbon
- Christmas Charms –Â I bought a big pack so I had plenty to choose from!
This project is so easy and fun, you’re going to love it!
Step one:
Start by picking out your charms! As I said, I am obsessed with charms and I had a big pack that I chose some of my favorites from. I recommend choosing your faves, but also trying to get a variety of color! I tried to balance the red and green with white and gold.
Use the MONO Multi Liquid Glue to put a dot of glue on the wreath base, and stick your charm to it. This glue is super strong, and stays tacky once it is dry, so I trust it to hold these 3d metal charms to the wooden base!
Step two:
Keep layering! I did a second layer of charms to fill in any gaps between them and add more depth.
Step three:
Add a ribbon! If you’re hanging this as a mini wreath, or even a Christmas ornament (how cute would that be?!), you can also add a bow and a ribbon to hang it from!
