Hello! Jennifer Priest here with an easy to create layout featuring ink, some fabric, and of course, TombowUSA’s fabulous adhesive.
To create this layout, follow the directions below:
- Stamp circles onto kraft cardstock using pigment ink.
- Coat ink circles with clear embossing powder and heat set.
- Place a stencil over various portions of the layout. Apply Tombow marker to a sponge and sponge over the stencil to create a faded effect.
- Color the frayed edges of a 2″ x 10″ piece of denim fabric with a Tombow marker. Adhere to the page, about 3″ up from the bottom, using Tombow Power Adhesive Tabs.
- Stamp purple circles onto a 7″ x 9″ piece of kraft cardstock and distress edges. Adhere to the page, overlapping the denim strip, using Tombow Power Bond Adhesive Runner.
- Ink the edges of a kraft tag with the sponge, applying more marker if needed. Tie scraps of denim in the top of the tag and adhere to the right side of the page using
Tombow Power Bond Adhesive Runner. - Add a photo to the center of the page. Stamp a sentiment onto a scrap of kraft cardstock and adhere to the photo using Tombow 3D Foam Tabs to give the sentiment dimension.
- Stamp diecut denim flowers and layer using Tombow Power Adhesive Tabs. Add punched hearts to the center of the flowers.
- Add flowers and stems to the layout using
Tombow Power Bond Adhesive Runner.
Easy peasy and under $5 to complete! You can use old, torn jeans for the denim on this project to save even more money. This also works great for back 2 school photos as the ink and marker colors can be changed to match any school colors.
Have you ever used markers to color denim or fabric before?
