Glitter Cupcake Party Cards by Marie Browning 2

This is one of my favorite card techniques – created with the Dual Brush Pens, Blending Kit, Ultra Fine Glitter and Peel-offs from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The photo doesn’t really show how glittery and fantastic the cupcake looks!

With double sided adhesive sheets, the cupcake peel-off (or outline sticker) and some Ultra Fine Glitter from the Art Institute, you lay down the glitter base onto white cardstock.

You create the sparkling hues with bright Dual Brush Pens coloring  right onto the image and shading with the in-direct blending method using the Blending Palette and Colorless Blender.

The cupcake is cut out and mounted onto the card with Foam Tabs. I even gave some of the rhinestones and mini flowers dimension with the small sized Foam Tabs. The paper panels are added using the Permanent Adhesive and a peel-off birthday greeting gives it the final touch.

This is just one of the techniques I teach in my ‘Viva la Vivid Cards with Tombow’ online class at My Creative Classroom. It’s just started and not too late to sign up!
