Hello friends, it’s Smitha here with my journal. One of my favorite things to do is to sit down and empty all my thoughts onto a page. So today, I’ll show you how to create a notes page that is pretty and has an area for all of your journaling!
Material list:
- MONO Drawing Pen
- Tombow Dual Brush Pens(choose a few colors of your choice)
- Dot grid journal or sketchbook
Step 1:
I start by creating a big focal point. For me, I like to draw a large flower using a few Dual Brush Pens. You can draw anything of your choice. Just make sure to make it bold.
To give this a sketchy feel, I added tones of grey to the leaves and purposely left the petal strokes unblended.
Step 2:
While the flower itself looks pretty, I love how it looks with a nice chunky outline! For thicker outlines, nothing beats MONO Drawing Pen 08.
Step 3:
Using the dot grids, space out even buckets of spaces. Create different shapes if you want or keep them all rectangle. It’s your choice!
Step 4:
The final step is to color in small areas to add pops of color. I love how the reds and pink on the page draw the eye here!
