We are looking for creators aged 18 and older who love Tombow products and want to showcase them creatively. Whether you excel at writing educational blog posts, creating engaging TikTok videos, or capturing stunning Instagram images, we definitely want to hear from you. Moreover, if you are passionate about creating captivating content, we are excited to connect with you and explore potential collaborations!

Creator Crew Expectations

Membership Duration: January 1st, 2025 – December 31st, 2025.

1. Content Creation
   • Use Tombow Products: Incorporate Tombow products in your content.
   • Promotion: Actively promote Tombow products and their promotions.
   • Deadline Adherence: Create content for Tombow social accounts by pre-determined deadlines.
   • Link to Tombow: Ensure you link to the Tombow USA website and blog (if applicable).
   • Cross-Promotion: Link to the Tombow blog on your own blog/website (if applicable).
2. Online Presence
   • Active Engagement: Maintain an active online presence by regularly updating your social media profiles, blogs, and websites.
3. Campaign and Content Calendar Adherence
   • Campaign Briefing Reports: Follow Tombow’s deliverable Campaign Briefing Reports.
   • Performance Reviews: Participate in Quarterly Performance Reviews.
4. Ethical Practices
   • Transparency: Adhere to ethical content creation practices, including transparent disclosure of affiliations to Tombow in accordance with FTC Guidelines and Regulation Standards.

In order to be eligible for the 2025 Tombow Creator Crew, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Eligibility Criteria

1. Location: Must be located in the United States or Canada and legally able to work.
2. Age: Must be 18 years or older by January 1st, 2025.
3. Online Presence: At the time of application submission, you must have at least two of the following:
   • Personal blog or website
   • Instagram account
   • TikTok account
   • YouTube channel
   • Facebook fan/business page dedicated to art or craft content

Frequently Asked Questions

Eligibility

1. Why do you not accept applications outside the Tombow USA subsidiary?
   • We do not accept applications outside the Tombow USA subsidiary because Tombow USA, also known as American Tombow, Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tombow Pencil Co., Ltd. of Tokyo, Japan. Tombow USA handles the distribution of Tombow office and art products in the United States and Canada. Unfortunately, applications and collaborations outside our subsidiary territory are strictly prohibited by our parent company, Tombow Pencil, with no exceptions.

     As a subsidiary, we are unable to ship to countries outside our territory. Even if we were able to accept applications from outside our territory, the United States alone covers six different time zones. Additionally, we maintain all documentation and communicate constantly with our team in English.

     We understand the disappointment this may cause and genuinely appreciate your interest in the 2025 Tombow Creator Crew.

1. What is the application timeline?
   • Applications open on Monday, July 1st, 2024, and close on Sunday, September 8th, 2024, at 11:59 PM PST.
2. How can I apply?

3. Who should I contact with questions about the application process?
   • Reach out to our Social Media Coordinator, Audrey Hayes, at social@tombowusa.com. Submit all questions by Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024, to receive answers by Thursday, September 5th, 2024. All questions will be answered during our working hours of Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST and Friday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST.

Selection Criteria

1. How many individuals will join the 2025 Tombow Creator Crew?
   • We will select up to 10 individuals to represent the 2025 Tombow Creator Crew.
2. How will we select the team?
   • Our Social Team will review applications and choose individuals based on content quality, content style, social media engagement, creative category, and alignment with current and future trends. Selected applicants will also go through an interview and a homework assignment process.
3. Is there a required minimum number of social media followers to apply?
   • No, there is no minimum requirement for social media followers.

Timeline

1. When should I expect to hear back?
   • You will be notified of your application status by Thursday, September 19th, 2024.
2. What is the term duration?
   • One year, from January 1st, 2025, to December 31st, 2025.

Creator Expectations

1. What are the content requirements for a Tombow Creator Crew member?
   • Content requirements vary each month. Tombow will provide each Creator Crew member with pre-determined deadlines and prompts based on our needs.
2. What are Quarterly Performance Reviews?
   • These regular check-ins maintain active communication. They provide updates on Tombow events, product launches, and promotions, and encourage feedback exchange, allowing members to share experiences and suggestions.

Support and Compensation

1. What if I don’t have a blog or website?
   • That’s okay! Our team is open to applications from those without blog experience, as we can provide training.
2. Payments
   • We make payments through ACH Direct Deposit every month.
