Craft Your Creativity with Tombow

Hi, friends! I’m Andrea Lake, and I’m so excited to share another fun project to celebrate National Craft Month with you all. Earlier this month, I received my Tombow VIP Mini Box, and after playing with the mini colored pencils for just a few minutes, I felt inspired to get back into coloring!

This time, I gathered my Tombow 1500 Series Colored Pencils, 36pc set, the Dual Brush Pen Art Markers Just Peachy and Yay Sorbet 6 pack sets, and a page from the Modern Folk Art Coloring Book by Dawn Nicole Warnaar to revisit one of my favorite childhood hobbies.

Supplies:

Coloring is such a relaxing and enjoyable activity, making it the perfect way to celebrate National Craft Month! While I’m not the best at drawing, I love how coloring allows me to express myself creatively. Combining Dual Brush Art Markers with the  Tombow 1500 Series Colored Pencils, 36pc set gives my work extra depth, detail, and a beautiful finished look.

I chose a gorgeous design from my coloring book featuring the quote: “Do What Makes Your Soul Happy.”

I colored each word in rainbow order, sharing progress photos along the way. Below, you’ll find the Dual Brush Art Marker and colored pencil pairings I used for each word:

DO: Dual Brush Art Marker #761 / Colored Pencil #22

WHAT: Dual Brush Art Marker #873 / Colored Pencil #28

MAKES: Dual Brush Art Marker #991 / Colored Pencil #4

YOUR: Dual Brush Art Marker #243 / Colored Pencil #10

SOUL: Dual Brush Art Marker #451 / Colored Pencil #13

HAPPY: Dual Brush Art Marker #623 / Colored Pencil #20

Other Colors Used:

  • Dual Brush Art Marker #133 / Colored Pencils #5, 7, 14, 24, 27, 35, 36

I’m so excited to get back into coloring using my favorite Tombow products! The possibilities are endless when you mix markers and colored pencils to create unique color combinations and textures.

I’d love to hear from you! Do you enjoy coloring? What are you creating to celebrate National Craft Month? Let’s inspire each other—share your projects and tag me so we can celebrate together!

With love,

Andrea
