do you ever have one idea that turns into another, and then another, until you are left with something that only slightly resembles what you intended to create?
that is exactly what happened with my project with my bella blvd loot. i got a box full of “hello beautiful” product with a piece from “sunny happy skies” and one from “plastino” and got to work.
i knew i wanted a calendar, and what i ended up with was way more than i imagined when i began. and according to my 4 year old daughter…. “so so so so cute!” (thank you dear!)
i love to do lists, writing things down, keeping track of appointments, so i’m always eyeing planners and calendars. i didn’t intend for this calendar to be my main organizer for the next year, but more a place to keep notes about what is going on with my and my family, a place to keep birthdays, and events, and maybe a place to add pictures.
each month i printed a calendar, an empty ‘to do’ list and a pocket/insert. i used MONO adhesive power bond to adhere everything so it would hold up throughout the entire year next year. the little inserts are roughly 4×6 in size, and would be perfect to add a full size picture or even several wallet size ones of things that happened during that month. or maybe it will be more of a journal to write thoughts and memories.
either way it is an on-going project, that will turn into a great keepsake come 2012.
i must say thank you to justin at fed ex/kinkos for doing a great job binding my calendar and advising me to choose the frosted plastic cover to protect the front, and a thank you to my husband for loving the finished result and suggesting that i make them as christmas presents this year.
and of course, thank you to bella blvd, for great product that inspired me to create a project will inspire me with positive thoughts and quotes through the next year as i use my calendar (because i love this one too much to give away!) speaking of giveaway’s there’s a rumor that a both bella and tombow will be doing giveaways throughout the week so speak up! let me know what you think of my project or what your favorite bella line is.

This is so freaking cool!!!! I came here hoping to find some inspiration for stuff to make for Christmas as gifts and BOOM! it’s here!!! I absolutely LOVE THIS!!! So off to make on right now! Oh and my favorite Bella Blvd line is: Hello Beautiful and one fall Day. I love the cloud patterns in any line and I love their colors in every line. So much goodness!
hmmmm….where’s the download? Am I missing it too?
Supercute calendar! I need one of these for 2011!
ladies, are you finding the download okay?
at the bottom of the calendar post there is a 3-word phrase “calendar bella blvd” that is underlined. it is a link to the download.
when you click on it, it will take you to another screen with a post that is titled “calendar bella blvd” and then there is another link underneath it that is underlined that says “calendar bella blvd” again.
it isn’t too difficult, but if you can not link to it please leave another comment and i’ll get it to you.
also, when opening it up, you may not have the same font that i used….
to fix that, highlight the whole document, choose a font you like, and then play with the font size. once you get one that works it should line everything up nicely.
i’ve tried it with a couple of different fonts, and each one needed to be sized differently.
good luck! i’d love to see your projects.
i’m working on 7 more….but shhh! don’t tell, they are supposed to be gifts!
Got it this time – thanks!
Is there any chance of a pdf being offered? I don’t use Microsoft Office 🙁
