Hello! I hope you all are having a great week. Christmas is just around the corner and the little elves are all busy getting everything ready for Santa.
Today I am sharing some items that I created using the Bargello paper technique. If you would like to learn more about this technique, you will find a great tutorial HERE.
I started by creating a 5 x 7 sheet of cardstock using the Bargello technique and then I cut it up to created the following projects. This technique requires you to adhere several strips of paper/cardstock to a backing sheet and I found that the Tombow Mono Adhesive Dots worked wonderful for this. All of my pieces stayed just where I wanted them. 🙂
I cut a small piece of the Bargello paper and created this fun little gift card holder.
Each of the layers were adhered to one another with Tombow Mono Adhesive Dots and the snowflake cluster is held tight using a Tombow Power Tab.
To hold the gift card holder closed I used a Tombow Fastener Tab. Fastener Tabs are Ultra thin hook & loop fastener tabs leaves no lumps or bumps for a smooth finish. Long lasting grip can be pulled apart and stuck together as often as you like.
Next up is a little tag:
For this tag, I used a Tombow Foam Tab to adhere the sentiment panel onto the tag. The little flower was colored using Tombow Dual Brush Pens in #703 Pink Rose and #772 Blush.
Finally, I created this card by die cutting the remainder of my Bargello paper with a heart die from Lifestyle Crafts. All of the print papers used are from the SEI
Berry Melody collection. Although this is a holiday paper collection, the backside of each of the sheets was just as beautiful and lent themselves to be used in non holiday projects.
