Baking Memories by Debbie Fisher

I have a fun project to share with you today. This is a photo/recipe album that you can create for each year of the family baking together and preserving those favorite cookie/candy/other recipes that you make each year.

I stamped the image and colored with Dual Brush Pens, by coloring onto a CD case and then picking up the color with the blender pen. I happened to stamp on regular cardstock, but definitely would recommend using watercolor paper instead.

The book measures 4.25″ x 5.5″. To make the front and back covers sturdier, I cut a cereal box and then adhered paper to the front and back of the chipboard with Mono Adhesive Stamp Runner. All of the pages inside are a gingerbread color. I will type up the recipes that we make every year and put on one page and then on the page beside it a picture of the treats.Add some tied buttons with Power Tabs cut in fourths and you have a fun traditional project to make each year.

Thanks for stopping by,
