I love to use book pages in my designs! So, for my challenge, I am going to inspire you to do the same! The challenge is to use a book page (or cardstock printed with a book page design) in a paper design along with Tombow’s Mono Aqua Liquid Glue. I love Aqua Glue to laminate the fragile book page papers to cardstock to create paper ornaments, paper crafts or cards. It dries clear with a nice matte finish and glues without wrinkles. The best part it has a built-in brush applicator so it easy to apply and there is no messy brushes to clean up after. Here are some posts for inspiration!
You can simply use a book page in a card design. Here I used a punched book page circle, glued on with MONO Aqua Glue, in this sweet Raccoon card design. For more information, check out the details in the Archives posted on 2012/04/23
A Bird bookmark and a Sewing themed ATC card, both created by laminating a book page to a piece of cardstock using Aqua Glue. Let the glue dry and then stamp and color with Irojiten Colored Pencils. Check out how I made the ATC in the Archives posted on 2012/10/29
The leaves are created by laminating die cut leaves together (using MONO Aqua Glue) with wire in the middle and colored with Dual Brush Pens. For more information, check out the details in the Archives posted on 2013/07/22. The Vintage ornaments are made by laminating torn pieces of book pages together with MONO Aqua Glue, then after they are dry, cutting out a motif. Mono Aqua is also used to add the glitter. Hope this inspires you to create something wonderful!
