Happy Friday Everyone! This week our design team had been inspired by the Summer Trends of 2015. If you want to take a peek at some trends check out this Pinterest Board. I was inspired by handwritten type, patterns and iconic imagery like hearts and smiley faces. For photos and labels I used the Tombow Stamp Runner Dot Pattern Adhesive. These cards are from the High Five Core Kit and most of the embellishments are from Freckled Fawn. To glue the yellow alphas and some of the embellishments I used the Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue.
The title week is the first card I always make because for some reason it’s easier and more fun. My staple item for title cards are labels. The square one is a free print and cut file for the Silhouette from Kaitlin Sheaffer, although you can print it and cut it with scissors. To glue these I used the Tombow Stamp Runner Dot Pattern Adhesive. The labels with the dates are from the Snap Collection from Simple Stories.I don’t know why I always run out of e’s so fast! I really like these Freckled Fawn alphas and the stripes match the summer trend inspiration so I used 2 o’s and a z to make these e’s. To glue them I used the Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue.
I love this cool smiley face and bubble speech (iconic images) pattern but I wanted to add a little bit of color and to do it I used the Tombow Dual Brush Pens. The amperstand is a chipboard from Freckled Fawn and to glue it I used the Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue.
I hope you liked this project and this inspired you to work on your memories!
