Hey Everyone! Jennifer Priest here with a fun emoji inspired card for this week’s “smile week”. Did you see Beth Watson’s adorable emoji project yesterday here on the Tombow blog? It’s ADORABLE! Like Beth, I love emojis and since I’ve been playing with piñatas, I thought it was a good time to combine them both. I mean, who doesn’t smile when they see a piñata?!
The fringe on this card has a lot of dimension because of the Tombow Foam Tape I used behind some of the layers. The card has a more lively feel that just makes me happy!
Here’s how to create this fun, dimensional emoji piñata card:
You can add a sentiment to the front of the card but I decided to add a sentiment to the inside of the card.
To carry over the tactile experience from the front of the card, I added a die cut sentiment to the inside of the card. It’s unexpected and fun!

- Tombow Foam Tape

- Tombow MONO Multi Liquid Glue
- Black Cardstock
