We are so thrilled to have Laura Kelly as our Guest Designer this week!
Laura Kelly lives in a world as whimsical as her art, which celebrates the joy and happiness found in everyday life. Laura began as a teacher, finding artistic inspiration in her students’ vivid imaginations.
Laura grew up in Upper St. Clair, Pa. immersed in books and art, and daydreaming of fairies, gnomes, dragons and castles. She began teaching elementary school in North Carolina, and found artistic inspiration in her students’ vivid imaginations. “When they told stories of make-believe, I found myself believing the magic of my childhood was recreated,” she says.
Laura doodles and creates wherever she goes with her kids, family and friends. While her focus is on expanding her licensing art portfolio, she finds lots of time to crafts, bake, garden and create in all the ways she can.
