Hey Tombow Friends! The weather and the leaves are changing! To celebrate I’m making a few handmade cards using Tombow Products!
Supplies
- Tombow MONO Air Touch Adhesive
- Patterned Paper
- Tombow Dual Brush Pens
- Card bases
- Tombow Adhesive Dots
- Embellishments (Die Cuts, Washi Tape, Stickers, Buttons, Etc.)
Step #1: Pick your fall inspired supplies.
The first thing I did was picking the Tombow Dual Brush Pens, the Secondary set is perfect for Fall! Based on those colors, I chose pattern papers and embellishments.
Step #2: Letter Fall inspired quotes!
Lately, I’m obsessed with lettering with the felt tip of the Tombow Dual Brush Pens! I used these cool sticky notes to letter fall inspired quotes. To add the authors’ names, I used the Tombow TwinTone Dual Tip Markers.
Step #3: Putting the cards together!
My favorite adhesive for paper is the Tombow MONO Air Touch Adhesive. To add this button, I used the Tombow Adhesive Dots. They are perfect for this kind of bulky embellishment like buttons.
The sticky notes with the quotes are the focal point of all the cards.
I love the torn edges on handmade cards. It gives them extra texture without the bulk. Add elements like washi dots or enamel dots in odd numbers. When added in threes, they create a visual triangle.
Another cardmaking tip I can offer is to make all elements touch, or you can do clusters of embellishments.
