Flower Power 4

Well, this flower isn’t that funky, but I think it turned out pretty cute. Perfect for a little girls room to a high school girl’s locker to a college girl’s dorm.

This week Tombow is partnering with Clear Scraps and I was sent this fun flower to play with.

I covered the clear plastic flower with patterned paper by Darcie’s using Tombow’s Mono Aqua Liquid Glue. It adhered the paper to the plastic perfectly! I let the glue dry and then cut close to the shape. Then using a nail file, I filed around the shape. This is a much smoother edge than if I would have tried to cut around the shape. Sponge the edges with brown ink and add a vintage ribbon bow and wa-la! Ü I also used the Aqua Liquid Glue to add the bow.

You could also add a magnet to the back and hang on the refrigerator or in a locker. I think it would be pretty to add a picture or favorite saying to the center. I am leaving it blank as I am giving this as a gift and want the recipient to decide what she wants to put in the center.

A fun, super easy, super quick (well quick after I finally decided on what papers to use LOL), inexpensive gift idea.
