Blog Hop with Stacy Julian 49

We are SOOOO excited to have THE STACY JULIAN as our Guest Designer for this week!
stacy

Stacy Julian is a life and color enthusiast who loves to play with pictures and patterned paper. She is an ‘early riser’, student of the scriptures and a recent convert to a whole foods diet, sans gluten! After three decades of not practicing, Stacy has started taking piano lessons again. She is a lover of trees, water, cardigan sweaters and sweet potatoes. Stacy believes in starting over, practicing imperfection and taking naps.

Stacy started her career as a D.O.T.S. demonstrator and owns all 144 colors of Tombow markers. She says, “They were my most prized-possession at the time!” She is the author several books and teaches extensively in person and online, with the goal of helping other women let go of unrealistic expectations so that they can more fully embrace the joy of creative expression.

When Stacy is not working at Big Picture Classes, blogging at stacyjulian.com, or posting to Instagram, she is mothering five nearly perfect children (wink), starting a new project her husband will have to finish or organizing a closet with her Dymo labeler. We could not be more excited to have Stacy Guest Designing for Tombow this week!

I “Like”d BOTH TombowUSA and Stacy Julian on Facebook. I love that each person made a different project to show the versatility of TomBow products. I will be doing some more research on their products.

I love blending!!!!! Blendingl blending and more blending!!! Love the bright colors too!!!! I too owned all 144 color Tombow pens at one time but due to use, not all of them are still with me.

My favorite project was Marie Browning’s snowmen. I loved the coloring tips-using the blue to shadow the lines is very helpful!
I already “liked” Tombow on FB, but also added Stacy to my Like list!
I was wondering, however, Stacy-how do you use pegboard to display your wood mounted stamps?(as mentioned in the blog post) Is there a picture somewhere-I am currently re-organizing(again!) and have mounted pegboard-so your idea would probably work for me-but I just cant picture it?

I am the proud new owner of a primary and secondary set of Tombows. I have been excited to dig into the many options that they open up. I have been watching Tombow tips on youtube for days now… Hope to put pen to paper soon!

Wow what a giveaway!!! I love Tombow, they were the first markers I bought when I dove into the stamping craze.

I Liked both TombowUSA and Stacy Julian on Facebook. I love the look of mixed coloring with pencils and the Tombow markers (my favorites, but they don’t sell them in my country!) Thank you for this bloghop and the opportunity!

I just love Stacy. I have a couple of her books and read them over and over.

Good luck to all with the give away!!

I loved Melissa’s “mummy”. I don’t do Google so I couldn’t tell her that. I cut some paper bags with my Cameo – there is a spider web in the middle of the front of the bag. I was going to put some candy bars in the bags but I’ve decided to add some mummies.
these are for two older gentlemen – one for a birthday and the other for a birthday/retirement party. I think both will get a kick out of the mummies.
I’ve liked you on FB for a long time. Just liked Stacy today – first time I’ve seen her page.
    thanks for having the hop.

I’m back just to say I loved learning some of the great techniques from Stacy and from Marie as well as all the other girls. Guess my favorite was the neat technique of making the bamboo and how to touch/blend markers together.

  • Andrea Nigg

I’ve already “liked” Tombow on Facebook so I’ve added Stacy Julian to my “likes” as well. I LOVED Marie’s bookpage inspiration projects!! I’ve recently begun doing projects with book pages and sheet music so these were the perfect inspiration to try something new.

  • Michael

I originally had Tombow liked and now I have Stacy Julian liked as well. I enjoy the Friendship card; it is nice to appreciate the people you surround yourself with with crafts, which I have never received or never could give myself.

  • virginia ogg

I had already liked Tombow and now I have liked Stacy. All of the projects were fun. I liked the little video on bamboo. Thanks for the chance to win.

  • Lois Stokes

I liked and was awed by the use of color in all of the blogs but my favorite was Marie’s Snowmen. Cool bamboo video too. I would love to own all of the Tombow pens.

  • Denise Knobloch

I love zentangle® & this adds another dimension to creations by the wonderful colors of Tombow. I really loved seeing the zentangle in color photos. Makes me want to get to creating in colors. I did not realize that they come in so many different colors. A dream come true!

  • jpscraps

I “like” both pages. It’s too hard to pick a favorite. I really like Stacy’s cards. Clean and simple. But I also like Debbie’s mummy. Scraps and chocolate 🙂

  • Monica Luo

I loved Tombow in Janpanese page. And I just liked Tombow and Stacy!!!
