For this blog I created a rose card colored with the Dual Brush Pens. The simple but beautiful rose stamp from Crafty Secrets was stamped with black ink onto lightweight watercolor paper.
For the rose, I used a simple direct-to-paper application of color with three shades of reds and pinks, Dual Brush Pen # 847, #856 and #772. The colors were then blended out with a water brush. The leaves had a bit of light pink, #772, and then #177 and #192 using the same technique to blend. The halo around the rose uses #977 and #990 for an antique hue to match the decorative papers. Permanent Adhesive was used to adhere the panels and complete the card.
A simple and beautiful technique for a simply beautiful card!
your coloring is gorgeous!

LOL But I WILL agree that this is pretty faekrin’ amazing – the colors are stunningly gorgeous, that delicious glitter/vellum butterfly is just the perfect amount of bling to finish this off. And yes, that grape color is really yummy!! GREAT JOB, Missy!! XO P.S. Soooo happy that you played along with CAS-ual Fridays this week . . . it makes my heart smile!!
