Dual Brush Pens

Our Dual Brush Pens come in 96 colors – including a Colorless Blender Pen – and since they’re water-based, they blend together to allow you to create tons of beautiful blended colors and ombre effects. Depending on the thickness of your paper, you may be able to see some colors on the opposite side of the page so we suggest always testing first in an inconspicuous area if you’re concerned about that. We’ve tested them in 3 different Leuchtturm1917 notebooks (plain, dot and grid), a Hobonichi Techo, Nuuna, and Moleskine – there was no ink bleed-through on any of the pages.

Fudenosuke Calligraphy Pens

If you want to instantly make your writing look amazing, this pen is your best friend. Our Fudenosuke Calligraphy Pens come in three variations – hard tip, soft tip and twin tip. Each has a firm yet flexible brush tip for different lettering and drawing techniques. You can create extra-fine, fine or medium strokes by changing the amount of pressure you apply while writing. We think the hard tip is easiest to use if you’re not familiar with using brush pens, but all three are fantastic. The hard tip has the least flexible tip, the twin tip has a mid-range flexibility and the soft tip is the most flexible. The twin tip features grey ink on one side and black ink on the other; both the hard and soft tipped versions only come in black ink. We’ve tested them in 3 different Leuchtturm1917 notebooks (plain, dot and grid), a Hobonichi Techo, Nuuna, and Moleskine – there was no ink bleed-through on any of the pages.

Highlighters

MONO Twin Permanent Marker

If you like to use washi in your journals, you’ll love the MONO Twin Permanent Marker. Use it to write or draw on your washi tape for an additional level of embellishment in your journal. We don’t recommend writing directly on your journal pages with this marker – the permanent ink is likely to bleed through your pages.

Rollerball & Ballpoint Pens

Prefer to use a traditional rollerball or ballpoint pen in your journal? We’ve got you covered there too! Irojiten Colored Pencils

Colored pencils are perfect for adding pops of color throughout your journal without worrying about bleed-through. Our Irojiten Colored Pencils come in 90 unique colors (including fluorescents!) and are ideal for journaling, doodling, illustrations, coloring and fine art.
