Hi everyone, it’s Adrienne from @studio80design! Have you ever wanted to get more organized?? I have four boys and between all of our schedules, life gets pretty crazy! I have found the secret to getting more organized – Bloom Daily Planners! They have everything from monthly planners, meal plan and shopping guides, and weekly planning and goal setting to help you become more organized and focus on self improvement. Bloom Daily Planners are created by women for women and are committed to helping others “bloom” into the best versions of themselves through the power of organization.
Today I want to give you some tips on how you can use your planner to get your life more organized! First of all, the designs on these planners are absolutely beautiful! Just seeing it on my desk makes me happy. So, let’s get started!
Materials you will need:
- 2018-2019 Soft Cover Daily Planner
- Tombow MONO Edge Highlighters
- Tombow Fudenosuke Hard Tip Brush Pen
- Tombow MONO Drawing Pen
- Tombow TwinTone Markers
- Tombow MONO Air Correction Tape
Tip 1: Color Code
If you have multiple people in your family that you need to keep track of, use different colors! After you’ve written down all your activities for the month, highlight each activity with whoever is involved! Use your MONO Edge Highlighters to create a legend in your planner page and highlight each activity. This will help keep things better organized with each family member’s activities.
Tip 2: Write Down Your Goals
Write down your goals!! This daily planner has a fabulous goals page at the beginning of the book to help get you focused on your goals! I used my Fudenosuke Hard Tip Brush Pen and TwinTone Markers to write and add a little flair to my goals.
Tip 3: Give Yourself Some Wiggle Room
When planning out your daily and weekly schedule, give yourself some wiggle room. Yes it’s important to make a schedule and stick to it. But I’ve found that’s next to impossible with small munchkins around. Something always comes up, whether it’s a sick child, your car needs gas, or a child has a meltdown. Bottom line: plans change. Be flexible and don’t stress if you have to leave early or cut out an activity altogether. Do what’s best for you and your family! If plans do change, use your MONO Air Correction Tape to start over!
Tip 4: Make It Your Own
Make this space creatively yours! This is your own personal space to plan your life and express yourself. Use funky lettering styles, draw doodles, or color in your planner to make this space yours!
Remember, using a planner is supposed to help you, not overwhelm you. So keep it fun! Do you use a planner? What tips do you have to stay more organized?
