Hi Tombow friends! This is Jennie! Today, I’m going to share with you how to make three easy wreaths using Tombow products!
Materials:
- Tombow Dual Brush Pens
- Journal or Planner
- Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen
- Tombow TwinTone Dual Tip Markers
- Tombow MONO Drawing Pen 01
- Tombow MONO Graph Mechanical Pencil
- Tombow MONO Dust Catch Eraser
Step One:
It all starts with a pencil. I love to use the Tombow MONO Graph Mechanical Pencil in my journal. Trace a circle using this pencil or any other pencil. This will be the first step for the three wreaths.
Step Two:
Draw curved diagonal lines around the circle using the bullet tip of the Tombow Dual Brush Pens. Remember to leave enough space between them. When you complete step three, you can add more if needed.
Step Three:
Align the tip of the Tombow Dual Brush Pen to the line and press the brush tip to create a leaf.
Step Four:
Repeat the process to create a fuller wreath.
Step Five:
Erase the pencil lines. I used the Tombow MONO Dust Catch Eraser.
Step Six:
Once your wreath is done, you can write anything you want with the Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen.
Here is another easy wreath!
Step One:
Once again, use a pencil to trace a circle.
Step Two:
Make spirals on the pencil line. This will be the base of your flower. Don’t make perfect circles, the spaces will look like highlights.
Step Three:
Doodle on top of the spirals with the Tombow TwinTone Dual Tip Markers. This marker has two tips, a fine tip and a felt tip. You can experiment with the tips to see which one you prefer.
Step Four:
Draw lines wrapping the pencil line.
Step Five:
Using the doodledab technique explained in wreath #1, add leaves to the lines.
Creating a doodledab dragonfly is super easy! Press the tip of the brush pen in two pairs and meet in the middle. Then use the fine tip of the Tombow TwinTone Dual Tip Markers to draw the body and details.
This is the last wreath!
Step One:
Trace a circle using a pencil. If you are not a fan of mechanical pencils, maybe the Tombow MONO Drawing Pencil is for you.
Step Two:
Using the same doodledab technique, you are going to create a flower. Remember to always put the tip of the brush pen in the middle.
Step Three:
Use two or more colors to create a layered flower. Place the brush pen close to the first petal to overlap them slightly. It almost gives a stained glass effect.
Step Four:
Trace the pencil line with the bullet tip of the Tombow Dual Brush Pens. Add leaves to the wreath.
Step Five:
Outline the flowers and leaves using the Tombow MONO Drawing Pen 01.
I hope you learned something today! Take Care!
