Hi friends! This is Smitha here today let’s get creative, pull out markers and make an easy handmade holiday card together. During this busy holiday season, it feels nice to slow down, take time to create simple art that can be gifted to family and friends.
Supplies:
- Dual Brush Pen, Nineties, 10-Pack
- Fudenosuke Brush Pen, Hard Tip, Black
- MONO Graph Mechanical Pencil, Cream Yellow
- MONO Eraser, White, Medium
- Cardstock or precut blank card
Handmade Holiday Card Tutorial:
Step One:
Using the MONO Graph Mechanical Pencil, lightly sketch out your design. Then write the phrase “Happy Holidays” using the Fudenosuke Brush Pen, Hard Tip in a fun bouncy font here.
Step Two:
Now it is time to relax and color. I filled in the leaf shapes with a green brush pen from the Dual Brush Pen, Nineties, 10-Pack. Using a set of pre-chosen 10-color markers makes this card super easy and you don’t have to waste time trying to get colors to coordinate.
Step Three:
Similarly, color the rest of your design using the brush tip of the Dual Brush Pen. This tip is flexible and smooth and you can fill in color onto the card quickly.
Step Four:
Once you finish coloring your design, add a warm message inside, pop it into an envelope and the card is ready to be gifted!
