Year in review Journaling Spread Tutorial
Step 1: Add a Title
I used my Dual Brush Pens to brush letter the numbers 2024 as a bold title to my journaling page. You can add stickers or even use a stencil to create this bold title. Then add the words “in review” or “in highlight” or “recap”
Step 2: Add color and months to the spread
I decided to create a circle based design for this page, and used this hex tool to help with the circles. You can freehand the circles, or draw squares here instead too. I drew 12 overlapping circles, one each for the 12 months.
I highlighted each circle with a color of Dual Brush Pen and then using the MONO Drawing Pen 08 I added month titles to each circle.
To finish off my spread, I added bold color outlines to each circle and then filled in the gap spaces with doodled color circles. This added such a bold pop of color to my spread! I love how my spread turned out.
Here are few ideas for journaling: add a line or two describing the month highlight, or where you travelled, maybe stick photos into each circle from that month or stickers!
