Last weeks team-up was so much fun I just had to do one last Imaginisce Inspired layout. This fun one was using their Live Loud collection. Normally it takes me hours and hours per layout but when you have such cute paper it makes it quick. Just a funky star, a few stitching accents, word strips and MONO Adhesive DOTS make this layout come together in about a 1/2 hour!
OH YEAH! And today’s the big day that we choose our winners!! IMAGINISCE is beyond awesome (but you knew that already, right?) and they’re sending out a surprise product pack to BETH WARREN and LISA HAAS! To top it off we’re sending out a 10 pack of our Jellybean Dual Brush Pens to MUSTANGKAYLA and BOBBI M!! THANK YOU ALL FOR COMMENTING! Oh wait there’re more! We’re giving away another Jellybean set and Imaginisce is giving away another product pack to one of our Facebook fans! So be sure to check for your name there!
Thanks Imaginisce for all the inspiration, fun products and amazing giveaways!! What about you? Did you like it? What other companies would you like to see us team up with?
*if you’re a winner please check your inbox. I need everyone to email me your snail mail addy so that we can get these sent off as soon as possible! (jwallace *at* tombowusa *dot* com)
Easter is one of my favorite holidays, and I’m not ashamed to admit it’s partly because of the candy involved. Mid-March is when my favorite Mini Cadbury eggs are “in bloom”, and the pastel M&M’s (which I swear taste better than the regular ones) are found on the shelf. My boys are already planning for an Easter Egg hunt with their friends, so I decided to make a little treat pocket to send with a little invitation card tucked inside. I’ll show you the pocket here today.
(click on the image below to see slideshow full size)
1. To make the tag, I used my Tombow dual brush pen in black, and ran it over this super cute clear acrylic stamp from Imaginisce. Then after stamping on a blank white tag, I used a butterfly rub-on to give the tag a little color. Trim the tag to the size you want.
2. Cut a piece of your favorite 8.5×11 cardstock in half lengthwise. Fold it to the size you want, using a bone folder to give a crisp line.
3. Fold the top down so it overlaps the bottom by at least a half inch.
4. Using a craft knife cut any shape window in the front panel of the pocket. I used a rectangular wooden stamp as my template. Decorate the pocket with stamps or rub-ons.
5. Cut your bag to size. I used regular plastic treat bags from the craft store, and cut about four inches off the top.
6. Run several strips of Tombow Permanant Dots on the inside back of the pocket. This helps the bag to stay in place once it’s full of treats.
7. Fill your bag, put it in place. Fold the top of the pocket over the bottom and then punch two holes about an inch apart, making sure you get through all three layers.
8. Thread a piece of half in ribbon through from the back. Thread the tag over the ribbon, then tie it in a tight bow.
9. Hide these from your children and husband so they can make it until Easter.
Happy Candy Eating!
This Lucy Bird Collection from Imaginisce officially makes me giddy excited. What else could have prompted me to FINALLY scrapbook my pictures from Easter 2006! This layout basically has everything that makes me happy on it. Circles? check! Stitching? check! Mini Albums? check! Glimmer Mist for Sparkle? check! Flowers and Buttons? check, check, check!! Last week’s video shows how I colored the adorable accents with Dual Brush Pens. I also made my title chipboard letters match by coloring them in with the Dual Brush Pen’s and today’s video on Facebook shows the best way to make any of your flowers match your layouts perfectly!

is it spring yet? i’m just holding onto thought that it will start actually feeling like spring any day now! so, in anticipation of warmer weather and spring break vacations i created this card…however it’s so cute, i hope that i am the one receiving it and not giving it.
i have never considered myself a “pink” person, but the lucy bird collection from imaginisce has me inspired to work on pink layouts for my daughter (whose is VERY pink). i didn’t have the pictures i needed printed, so i satisfied my creative desire by creating this card.
i couldn’t decide which side of the paper to use, so i used both! by cutting a window in the front of the card i was able to adhere one piece of paper and see both sides. one through the front window and the other on the inside of the card.
i’ve been wanting to try something for a while, and cutting out this little bird gave me the chance to go for it…using Tombow’s MONO Multi as a three-dimensional adhesive. the glue dries tacky, so i put three generous dots on the back of the bird and let it sit out over night. the next morning i added a tiny dot of the Multi on top of the dried dots from the night before and attached it to the card. it gave my little bird “flight”! just enough dimension…just what i was going for! i love it when an idea works out. oh and before i’m off, check out our facebook page, I have another cute card posted there. be sure to keep the comments coming on facebook, here on the blog and over at imaginisce, a little birdy told me they love hearing your feedback (and might be rewarding it!)
Marie made these fun bookmarks using Tombow Dual Brush Pens, Tombow Adhesive Dots, Imaginisce’s Scooter’s Vacation Line and … SALT?! Yeah, her creativity is more than amazing! The kids will love adding the unexpected! She was kind enough to break it down so that the rest of us can teach our kids this awesome technique…
Today we’re kicking off our week with Imaginisce! Be sure to check out their blog all week for project using both Tombow and Imaginisce products. You’re sure to be inspired! Today’s adorable home decor project was made by Debbie . She just cut wood to different lengths and used Tombow MONO Multi to adhere Imaginisce Lucy Bird papers to the blocks. Then she used MONO Permanent roller adhesive to attach the great embellishments. I love her cute birdhouses, esp. on that way cute brown and pink polka dot paper. I’m a sucker for polka dots! So, if you just happened to have some Tombow and Imaginisce Lucy Bird product lying around what would you create??
**** on a side note make sure to mark your calenders and pencil us in EVERYDAY NEXT WEEK we’re Teaming up with IMAGINISCE! You won’t want to miss the amazing projects from both of our design teams not to mention the WICKED AWESOME prizes!!

Somehow in the last 9+ years of parenting I’ve left myself out of the Easter Basket equation. This year I vowed to change that. After all, Easter candy is really my FAVORITE candy of the year, and why should the kids get all the fun? So I made myself an Easter basket yesterday, and I’m quite happy because I can pretty much guarantee that the Easter Bunny is going to leave me EXACTLY what I love!
I used the Lucy Bird line from Imaginisce…I have all boys so I don’t pull out birds and girly flowers very often, but let me say that I was SO excited this week to have a reason to scrap in pink!! This line is so cute and whimsical, and the coordinating stickers, flowers, and chipboard are adorable.
After I had the basket finished, I decided I needed some cute flowers coming out of it. So be sure to keep reading, I included a tutorial at the end to show just how easy it is to make these. I only made a few since I needed to leave some room for the candy, but these are so cute in a glass vase with LOTS of them in a variety of lengths.
