Tic Tac Purse by Debbie Fisher 1


This is actually made with generic “tic tacs” and I like them better. I purchased them from Dollar Tree.

Supplies not in photo that you also need is distressing ink if you want to distress the edges, and ribbon scraps. I used Power Bond Adhesive to adhere all the pieces together.

Cardstock is cut the width of the breath mints container and the length to fold over and adhere (here I cut it 2.5″ x 4.5″.

Round the corners as shown in photo. I apologize for the bad photos. Wasn’t very good lighting here, but wanted to get this tutorial posted.

Adhere the small coordinating color to the patterned paper as shown.

You need two chains for this. Click the ends together to form a circle. Apply Power Bond Adhesive on the coordinating piece. Wrap the paper strip around the breath mints with the chain at the top of the mints. Tie ribbons to the chain “handle”. Here is the finished project.
