have a sunny day….by melissa cash 5

As we ease into fall, one of the things that I think about is the beautiful colors that come with the season.  Rich, warm golds and browns with a touch of green.  Ahhhh!
This card started with a base of rich chocolate cardstock that was layered with some fun distressed double dot paper from Bo Bunny.  I cut the diamond pattern strip with my Silhouette Cameo and attached the dot and decorative strip with Tombow Mono Dots Roller.  For the next strip I used the Tombow Mono Dots Roller to adhere the tiny strips of dot paper to the edges of the print and then popped this up using Tombow Foam Tabs.  The pretty sunflower is from the Our Craft Lounge Fall Sunflower set was colored with the Tombow Irojiten Color Dictionary Pencils.  I used the fluorescent colors from the Seascape set and I really like how vibrant the flower turned out. The floral image panel was popped up with Tombow Foam Tabs.  To hold the button in place I used a Tombow Power Tab.

Even though I used the fluorescent pencils to color my entire image, you can use just one or two to add highlights to any project.  Try it, you’ll like it!
