Need a quick card for the big day? This card is actually one you can START while you’re at work at the office. All you need is a little cardstock and some Correction Tape!
Fold the cardstock to create a card base. Cutting an 8.5×11 piece of cardstock into two 5.5″ x 8.5″ pieces will yield two cards. Next, create a pattern on the card front using the Correction Tape I chose to create a diagonal plaid pattern. It is okay if the correction tape is not perfect — it makes the card look distressed. To get a perfect line, run the Correction Tape in the pattern slowly–fast, loose actions will result in the distressed look I achieved on this card.
Add more lines to the pattern using a Tombow Dual Brush Pen and baker’s twine or yarn. Adhere baker’s twine in place with Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue. Add stickers and punched paper hearts – pop the hearts off the card using Tombow Power Tabs. Brush the edges of the card with the brush end of a Tombow Dual Brush Pen for an aged effect. No one will ever know that you start this card in your office, not the craft room!
