Welcome to the Chalk Hop with Fancy Pants Designs and Tombow! We are showcasing the great chalkboard tags and trims from Fancy Pants and the Soft Primary Irojiten Colored pencils from Tombow!
I covered a sketchbook with cardstock and embellishments from Fancy Pants Me-ology Collection. The collection went great with the chalkboard tags! I used Xtreme for attaching the panels, as this journal will have heavy usage! I used Foam Tabs and Power Tabs to attach the embellishments.
For the small buttons, trim each Power Tab into quarters while still on the backing paper, you only need small piece of these super-sticky tabs to hold heavier embellishments on securely!
For the chalkboard tags and panels I removed the backing paper and placed them on matching cardstock from the collection. Trim around the pieces to remove the excess paper. I used the Soft Primary Irojiten Colored Pencils to add the lettering. For a cool effect, I then shadowed the lettering using a white gel pen. Fancy Pants makes accenting and embellishing so easy by using the matching pieces from the Collection!
I love how the final piece turned out and will have fun filling up the pages with the remaining Meology papers and embellishments and drawing with the Irojiten pencils!
