Cards + Flowers in minutes

This week the Tombow USA Blog has a challenge for you so wake up and smell the flowers – the theme is May Flowers!

Welcome back to our May Flowers Challenge week. I’m happy to share a couple floral cards with you that I can’t wait to send off to friends or family. Each card uses a different die cut using the print and cut option on my Silhouette. Here they are with a few short instructions to create your own.

I did some background stamping and inked the edges to created a bold background for these orange flowers. I layered two of the cuts for dimension. I also added glittered gems to the flower centers. Tombow MONO Aqua Liquid Glue is the best for those gems.  I like to make sure they aren’t going anywhere especially if being mailed.

I created the second card using the same technique by layering the die cut, adding some ink to make it pop and adhering it to the card.

I used the materials shown below on both cards.
