Hello friends, it’s Smitha here with my sketchbook! Spring is here, so I’m drawing flowers. Come and draw along with me!

Material list:

Step 1:

Using the brush tip of ABT PRO Marker 673, draw petal shapes to make a flower. This is a soft mauve color that looks beautiful on the paper. With the brush tip of ABT PRO Marker 665, feather a few strokes onto each petal towards the center. Repeat this to draw three flowers.

Step 2:

Now we add leaves. First, draw oval leaf shapes using the brush tip of ABT PRO Marker 133. Add feather details with the brush tip ABT PRO Marker 195. Then, go over the whole area with the brush tip of ABT PRO Marker 173. ABT PRO Marker 173 is a medium tone and it will blend the colors nicely.

Step 3:

Using the brush tip of ABT PRO Marker P803, add more flower shapes to build our flower bunch. I also added hints of this color to the center of the purple flowers. This is my absolute favorite color! Then using the brush tip of ABT PRO Marker 815, layer a few detail strokes.

Step 4:

To finish off the flowers, add tiny dots to the center of the flowers using the chisel tip of ABT PRO Marker 476. Just tap the edge of the pen onto the paper quickly to create small uneven dot shapes.

Step 5:

Finally, add small filler leaves with the brush tip of ABT PRO Marker 502 and 249. That’s it! We’ve used all the colors in the set and created a pastel tone flower composition.

I love using the 12-pack sets! The colors are all coordinated and make creating so much easier!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! Happy crafting!
