Hey y’all, this is Katie! Today, I am going to show you how to color your own galaxy card using Tombow’s ABT PRO Alcohol-Based Markers. If you have any space loving friends, they will LOVE this handmade card!
Supplies:
- Tombow ABT PRO Alcohol-Based Markers (I’m using 133, 401, 403, 491, 493, 535, 606, and N00)
- Bristol paper
- Tombow MONO Removable Adhesive
- White acrylic paint
- Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen
Step one:
Cut a card base to 4×6″ from bristol paper.
Use the MONO Removable Adhesive to temporarily adhere a shape onto your card front to mask off an area for your sentiment.
Step two:
Time to draw the galaxy! Beginning with your lighter colors, apply the ABT PRO Marker ink across your card.
Step three:
Layer on your colors, continuing from light to dark, until you fill up the card front.
Step four:
Using the Blender Pen (N00), color in small circles to further blend and smooth out the colors.
Step five:
Use white acrylic paint and a small paintbrush to add white stars on top
Step six:
Use the Hard Tip Fudenosuke Brush Pen to hand letter on your sentiment. A fun space-themed quote goes great with the galaxy theme!
What do you think? The ABT PRO Markers create such vibrant galaxies! If you try this tutorial make sure to tag @tombowusa and @studio.katie so we can see your work!
