Echo Park’s “Victoria Gardens” by Marie Browning 18

This
project was inspired by Echo Park’s Victoria Gardens paper and sticker
collection. I had a wonderful photo of my cousin’s children, Anna and Maggie,
which was perfect for framing with these exquisite papers.

A 10 x 10 Basswood Canvas from Walnut Hollow was used for the frame to hold this dimensional collage. I painted the frame with one coat of white acrylic paint and when dry, sanded to distress to  fashion a white wash effect. The paper was then cut to size and adhered to the inside back and sides of the frame with MONO Aqua Liquid Glue.Aqua is perfect for gluing paper to wood with no wrinkles and a smooth, even surface when dry.

Thanks
Echo Park for beautiful papers that make it easy to create!
