The Power to Adhere Everything by Jennifer Priest 2

As a papercrafter and Mixed Media Artist I am often trying to adhere different media together: paper to plastic, wood to acrylic, fabric to cardboard, and so on. I create mini books quite often and these go through alot of handling so a strong, invisible adhesive is important. Many times in the past I have turned to hot glue because there was no viable alternative, however, hot glue burns fingers, leaves bothersome glue strings, and sometimes the heat damages projects.

Thank goodness for Tombow’s The Craft Collection Power Adhesive Tabs . Think “clear foam dot” and then some! These tabs are extremely tacky and hold anything and everything I tried them with. The weight of many embellishments I love, such as flowers and the Epiphany Crafts Vintage Settings on this album cover, usually exceeds the load a foam dot or adhesive dot can handle. The Power Adhesive Tabs  can hold up to 6.5 ounces of weight per tab–that is more than 10 sheets of 12×12 paper with one Tab!

The Tombow Power Adhesive Tabs add a touch of dimension with SUPER holding power. Don’t let the kraft colored backing fool you–these Tabs are crystal clear and perfect for working on dimensional projects where you don’t want the adhesive to detract from the design.

All of the items on this mini album cover were adhered using the Power Adhesive Tabs:

  • Chipboard Diecut
  • Paper Flowers
  • Pleated Paper “Ribbons”
  • Epiphany Crafts Vintage Settings with Inserts (plastic)
  • Dyed Fabric Leaves
  • “Fussy Cut” Family Title
Next time you don’t know what adhesive to choose, grab a pack of Tombow Power Adhesive Tabs. It will work wonders, be invisible, and hold like no other. It’s like the super hero of adhesive!Mini Album Supplies:
