Tea Tag Box by Debbie Fisher 1

I have another fun bright and cheery project to share with you today that I designed for CHA this past summer. You could make this any theme, just by changing out the designer papers you use.

This box is one that I designed myself a few years back. They are fun and easy to make. The first box I designed I covered shipping tags with patterned papers, but this one I cut tags with my Cricut and then covered them. This way I was able to get the exact height and width I wanted.

I used  Stamp Runner Permanent Adhesive to adhere the Fancy Pants designer paper to the tag and side panels and Power Bond Adhesive to put the box together.

The teacup image is from Our Craft Lounge’s Tea Time set and I stamped it on watercolor paper and colored it with Dual Brush Pens and Blender.

To finish the box off, I punched holes at the top, added eyelets and tied on May Art ribbon and the tea cup tag. Now it is ready to add some tea bags.

Would you like to make one? There are general instructions here. Let me know if you have any questions.
