Happy Friday! This is Jennie and this week we have been sharing Halloween Cards! If you need ideas check out the latest posts! I made three small 3×3 cards using these easy techniques. I combined Tombow Glues with Tombow Dual Brush Pens to make cards extra especial.
These stamps are from Taylored Expressions and I colored them using Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I also used them for the faux stitching using the fine tip. The paper on the back is vellum and to glue it I used the Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive which I also used for the eyes. The cardstock is from Core’dinations.
I applied the Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue to the web, spider eyes, cauldron and bubbles using the fine tip. Let it dry for a few minutes.
Then I rubbed Clearsnap Designer Foils on them to make them shiny. I popped the image and sentiment with Tombow Foam Tape.
In these last two I made a background using the Tombow Mono Glue Pen. On the square in the image I used this groovy pattern that reminds me of 70’s disco. I was going to blend all these colors like I did in the first one but when I saw the second color like this I liked it! If you want to go back and blend just use the Tombow Dual Brush Blender Pen.
When you make your pattern make sure you draw it left to right if you are right handed or right to left if you are left handed. That way you won’t damage your design.Scribble with the Tombow Dual Brush Pens. In the first one I went with a monochromatic palette and on this last one I was inspired by corn candy.
Well I hope this week inspired you to make and send Halloween Cards! Share your cards with us on Facebook or on Instragram using the hashtag #tombowusa.
Have a great weekend!
LOVE these Jennie! I never thought to use the MONO Glue Pen as a masking agent!
Great cards! Love that technique!!
